2026.06.09 TAHP RAC Proposal Comments to OIG

TAHP’s comments urge OIG to narrow the proposed Medicaid RAC managed care rule so reviews apply only when state funds are at risk, protect managed care organizations with the same appeal rights as providers, allow more time for large record requests, and align reporting requirements with statute by limiting referrals to suspected fraud or abuse rather than expanding obligations to include waste.
